PhD. in Philosophy, Assosiate Professor Gasimova Elfana Nasimi
She was born on March 12, 1978 in Baku.
In 1994-1998 she studied at Baku Commodity-Commercial Institute, majoring in artistic design of textiles and light industry goods, graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree.
In 1998-2000 she graduated with honors from Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a master’s degree in the same specialty.
In 2000, she worked as an assistant at the “Design” department of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and since 2003, she has worked as a senior lecturer at the same department.
Since 2004 she has been a candidate for a degree of the department of Philosophy on Humanities faculties of Baku State University, in 2009 she defended her dissertation on the specialty of social philosophy.
Until 2020, she was an associate professor of “Design” at UNEC.
Since November 2020, she has been the head of the Design Department at UNEC.
13 articles, 11 theses , in 2007 the monograph “Social functions of design” of hers have been published.
She is married and has two children.
